2024-12-22 Worship Bulletin

WELCOME!

We are thankful God led you to worship with us at North Etowah today! Jesus leads us to be a family that extends His grace, mercy, and forgiveness to everyone. If you do not have a church home, we would love for you to be a member of our church family!

We would love to get to know you better! Please take a moment and fill out our Connection Card.
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
(Matthew 28:18–20, NASB95)

LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING

Our Goal: $8,000
New Goal: $10,000
Received to Date: $9,440

The Lord gave us the GREAT COMMISSION (Matthew 28:18-20); He showed us His vision of the GREAT MULTITUDE (Revelation 7:9); Between the Great Commission and the Great Multitude, God invites us to THE GREAT PURSUIT (Acts 1:8).

Every year, Southern Baptists collect the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® where 100% of your giving is used to send and support international missionaries.

International missionaries supported by the Lottie Moon Offering reported the following in 2023:
  • 1,036 unique people groups heard some portion of the gospel
  • 879,798 people heard the gospel
  • 141,206 new believers
  • 116,992 baptisms
  • 269,571 discipled
  • 12,618 trained in church planting

One great way to support Lottie Moon is by saving your spare change. We will collect change on Sunday, December 22.
LOTTIE MOON POST OFFICE

The Lottie Moon Post Office is your opportunity to give a little extra to missions. After you make out your Christmas cards to those who regularly attend our church, place them in the post office and give the money you would have spent on postage to Lottie Moon. There is a jar next to the post office if you would like to place your postage money there.

Please make sure to “check your mail” before 12/31!
"JAILHOUSE ROCK!"

A link to our Children’s Choir presentation of “Jailhouse Rock!” is now available in our church app and on YouTube at youtube.com/northetowah. Special thanks to Josh Boggess for his help!
A NOTE ON GIVING

Beginning on January 1, 2025, please make all checks payable to Spirit City Church North Etowah. If you prefer online giving, our current giving page will be active until the end of this year with a new page forthcoming.
The church office will be closed 12/24 - 1/1. We may be reached by leaving a voicemail at or texting 423-263-5531.
