THANKSGIVING FELLOWSHIP MEAL
Monday, November 21 - Deliveries to shut-ins begin at 4:30pm; Meal at 6:00pm

The meat, dressing, bread, and soft drinks will be provided. Please bring sides and desserts.

To sign someone up to receive a home delivery, please contact the church office (423-263-5531) with their name, address, and how many plates for delivery.

INDOOR FALL FESTIVAL
Sunday, October 30, 5-7pm

Due to the potential of rain, our Trunk ‘N’ Treat will be inside this afternoon. We need volunteers to help our guests navigate from one area to another in our building. Everyone is welcome to come help and be a part of this outreach event!

It is shoe box time! Empty boxes available in the Worship Center. Filled boxes are due back to the church by November 13.

LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING
The Lottie Moon Offering for International Missions is coming up in December. Each year we like to encourage everyone to set aside their spare change in addition to their regular offering for Lottie Moon. If you haven’t started a change jar, it isn’t too late!

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS
Suggested donations for the community food pantry are fruits, vegetables, canned meats, and other staples. Donations may be left in the office area, nursery carport entrance, and the Worship Center vestibule.

LOVE PACKAGES LITERATURE RECYCLING
As a reminder, at the end of each quarter you may leave your old Sunday School literature in your classroom to be collected and passed along to Love Packages in Decatur, AL. Love Packages ships over 1,500 tons of recycled gospel literature to the mission field every year.

Accepted items include Bibles, reference material, books, magazines, daily devotionals, Sunday School materials, CDs, DVDs, BluRay discs, tracts, puppets, Nativity sets, puzzles, etc.

Please do not send VHS tapes, cassette tapes, records, 8-tracks, Guideposts, Mature Living, handiwork or busy papers from Sunday School materials, secular books (other than dictionaries), and mission-focused magazines.

If you are interested in helping with this ministry, volunteers are needed to sort, pack, and/or deliver materials on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 9:30am, at the McMinn-Meigs Association Office, 350 N. Congress Parkway, Athens.
